The water content is determined by drying a representative sample of the drug.
The extracts are prepared using certified-organic ethanol and water to achieve a 1:1 drug/extract ratio. The plant material to be processed is divided into three fractions: 50%, 30% and 20%. Each of these is soaked for 2 hours; once loaded into the percolator, a preliminary maceration of 12 hours is carried out before the actual percolation step.
The second fraction is processed with the percolate from the first fraction and the third with that of the second, to avoid exposing the drug to heat.
Extracts are produced exclusively to order.
